Most of my herbs are organic, all others are wild-harvested, that is they were found growing naturally and were harvested in a way that does not harm the population. Plenty was left to grow and thrive, to be sure there is more to be harvested again in the future. If you have any questions about organic and wild-harvested herbs, please contact me. Are your magical herbs fresh? Yes, I acquire my herbs within 2 months of their harvesting. Those I harvest myself are even fresher. How do I store my herbs to maintain freshness? If you click on the Herb Information & Care link at the top of the Magical Herb page, you will find how to store your herbs and important information regarding safety guidelines for using herbs. Please research each herb before purchase to make sure it is used properly. Why do I get more of one herb than another? All herbs are sold by weight, as specified in the description. Some herbs are heavier than others, so they may appear to be less quantity. Pay attention to the weight, not the "amount" of the herb packaged. For example, a package of 1/4 oz. of Dandelion leaf will appear to be more in quantity that 1/4 oz. of Cumin seeds, the former is lighter than the latter (think of a pound of feathers vs. a pound of bricks). How do I know which herb size I should purchase? Simple. Herbs sold in Spell Size are good if you only need the herb for one or two spells, since most spells require only a small amount of the magical herb. Purchasing herbs in smaller quantities helps to maintain freshness. In this way, you use the herb up before it has time to go bad. If you plan on using more, purchase the Sabbat or Coven size; these are good if you frequently use an herb. DUST & OLD COINS Will you do custom orders? Indeed I will! Discount Pricing is available upon request for multiple or troupe orders (delivery time may increase depending on quantity of order). PAYMENT & SHIPPING What's the story with the packaging materials? I believe in recycling to protect our Mother Earth, and I'm always trying to find different ways to do it. Waste not want not! Some orders are packed in shredded paper. These are mostly from misprinted labels, imperfect typing, or other useless paper. I never use paper that may contain valuable information, such as old receipts, personal information of mine or my customers, order transactions, credit card numbers, etc. Paper with these things are shredded, then properly discarded. You can rest assured, my packing materials contains no such information! |
