Unwritten Worlds: RIT, the new chapter!

After a first edition (2022-2025) that kept its promises in terms of transition, initiation andprofessional exchanges in the XR field, with no less than 40 workshops, 3 XR Camps and 15 artists in residence, the European project Realities in Transition is renewed for the period 2026-2028.

This reiteration makes sense in the context of the ever-expanding territory of XR (eXtended Reality), further widening the field of possibilities for imagining alternative realities and new worlds.

Dark Euphoria is renewing its participation in the project, as part of a consortium welcoming new partners. Together, we’re committed to developing a program of collective artistic residencies, as well as opportunities for the circulation of knowledge and people benefiting fromshared tools for the European XR community.

With Unwritten Worlds, the RIT project raises three fundamental questions:

  • How does the XR really serve the creative gesture?
  • How can we conceive and design immersive works that are economically viable, sustainable and accessible?
  • And finally, what place does the XR experience give to spectators?
