Supported by a group of players from the South of France (Dark Euphoria, Le Grenier à Sel, Villa Créative – Avignon Université and La French Tech Grande Provence) and in partnership with the Avignon Festival, the rencontres spectacle vivant, scènes numériques (SVSN) invite professionals in the performing arts to consider issues of digital transition and innovation (augmented and virtual stages, immersive theater, hybrid forms, interactive devices, participatory performances, etc.).

Les rencontres SVSN features debates, roundtables, workshops and a festival of showcases to discover projects in the making. It’s a collective entry point to these new hybrid stages, and a human-scale space for acculturation and exchange, at the heart of one of the world’s biggest live performance festivals!

SVSN also offers a “live performance – digital scenes” prize, giving creators of shows incorporating immersive and interactive technologies (XR, motion capture, real-time interaction, digital doubles, etc.) the opportunity to meet a panel of theater and venue programmers, and for the winning team to receive support for its project (creation grant and residency).
